Say hello to one of the world’s leading apps for health and fitness. Use the Fitbit app on PC on its own to join its community, track basic stats, and stay motivated on your journey.
What is the Fitbit app PC
Fitbit app for PC is one of the biggest and best names in fitness tracking wearables, and it makes a wide range of trackers, both basic and advanced, at a range of prices. It even makes some smartwatches, so if you’re looking for the best then there’s plenty to choose from.
Your goals are set when you first create your account, allowing you to personalize Activity, Exercise, Nutrition & Body, and Sleep. Since your goals will likely change over time, Fitbit allows you to edit them at any point.
How can you use it
Cardio Fitness Score is Fitbit’s way of estimating your VO2 Max. What is VO2 Max? In simple terms, this is the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use during exercise, with this represented in a round figure and categorized anywhere from ‘Excellent’ to ‘Poor’ for your age and gender.
This is Fitbit’s way of reading the oxygen levels in your blood during sleep, using a red LED in the optical heart rate monitor. Rather than presenting this as a single percentage score, Estimated Oxygen Variation (EOV) examines the difference in the highs and lows of your blood oxygen and looks to highlight potential underlying conditions.
It indicates this score is based on your resting heart rate figure and user profile, with the figure becoming more accurate over time. View progress towards your daily goals for steps, distance, calories burned and active minutes, and see your trends over time.
Use a tracker to record your sleep at night. Then, use the sleep tools in the app to set a weekly sleep goal, create bedtime reminders and wake targets, and review your sleep trends over time. If you want to track your activity but don’t have a Fitbit tracker, you can use your smartphone to record basic stats like steps, distance, and calories burned.
Connect multiple trackers to one account and the Fitbit app for Windows will automatically detect when you switch between them. So you can wear Fitbit Surge during workouts and use Fitbit One to discreetly track your da
Use your Fitbit tracker to record workouts or log them in the app, then see all your exercise stats, their impact on your overall day, and how your performance is improving.
Use the Fitbit app for PC to share a view or a selfie once you’ve reached the peak of your workout. Your pic and stats can be sent to friends and followers on any social channel, or through email and text.
Notifications will pop up on your smartphone to give you a gentle push in the right direction and keep you moving towards your goal.

If you’re an avid Fitbit user, you’ve probably come across Fitbit Premium, a personalized subscription service in the Fitbit app on your device. For a monthly price, Fitbit Premium gives you access to guided workouts, meditations, advanced health insights, and sleep tracking, along with other tools to help you reach your fitness goals. Fitbit Premium could allow you to access some of their helpful features, like stress sensing within a guided meditation.
Fitbit Premium costs $9.99 per month, or $80 for a year.
At the start of coronavirus lockdowns and quarantines back in March, Fitbit began offering a 90-day free trial for new Fitbit Premium subscribers. That free trial is still available.
